The Company
A leading manufacturer of Home and Lifestyle Products in the U.K with a deserved reputation for high quality, employee satisfaction and financial returns is currently looking for a new General Manager. Growing to a staff of 300+ employees and enjoying a turnover in excess of £300 million this highly innovative business leads the industry when it comes to new product development. With multiple manufacturing sites across the U.K the business enjoys excellent client relationships with top-tier blue-chip customers.
The Role
As the General Manager you will be expected to devise and execute an effective business strategy to elevate the company to new levels of success. You will use your commercial acumen to increase turnover to circa £200 million in the next three years. As the successful General Manager you will be expected to lead, direct and develop the commercial activities of the company across all of its sites.
The Successful General Manager will have:
- Experience within the furniture/soft furnishing industry
- Full P&L responsibility
- Experience in sourcing components and fabrics
- Process’s & product development
- Managed company KPI’s and achieved sales growth.
- Evidence of working within a sophisticated manufacturing environment
Candidates must be able to demonstrate an impeccable track record of overachievement and success as a General Manager with year-on-year profit and sales growth operating under a culture of change and continuous improvement.
