Lichtenstein: A Retrospective

The first full-scale retrospective of the pop artist in 20 years will showcase 125 of Lichtenstein's most important works. In addition to some best-known pieces such as Whaam! (1963) and the Artist's Studio series (1973-4), his earlier Pop Art works and explorations depicting landscapes and mirrors will be shown.

Henri Labrouste: Structure Brought to Light

MoMa’s exhibition views the 19th-century French architect’s work as a milestone in the modern evolution of architecture and includes more than 200 works, from original drawings to architectural models and photographs. Also on display will be works by other architects, including pupils of Labrouste as well as the likes of Louis Sullivan and Frank Lloyd Wright.

Palaces for the People: Gustaviano and America’s Great Public Spaces

This exhibition sheds light on the works of the Gustaviano family who, as Spanish immigrants to America in the 19th century, brought with them a patented tiling technique, thus enabling construction of self-supporting arches that transformed the American architectural landscape.

Geoffrey Farmer at The Curve

The artist’s installation The Surgeon and the Photographer is part of Barbican’s Dancing around Duchamp season. Consisting of hundreds of puppet-like figures and images cut from old books and magazines, the art piece is accompanied by a newly commissioned film.
